How to make an appointment:

Before you make an appointment at Cardiology Australia, please make sure that you have a current referral from your GP.

To make an appointment, please contact our main office number @ (02) 8207 0127 or alternatively email us your contact details to doctor@cardiologyaustralia.com. For email appointment requests, please allow 24-48 hours response time for us to contact you and book your appointment.

What to bring with you for the appointment:

To your appointment, please bring your referral and your Medicare/Veterans’ affairs card. For patients who are not eligible to use Medicare as form of payment, please contact our office regarding forms of payment prior to your appointment. Please note that all services provided must be paid for at the time of appointment.

Electrocardiogram (ECG) The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a non-invasive test used to evaluate the rhythm and electrical activity of the heart.
Exercise stress test In this test, the electrical activity of the heart is monitored with ECG leads while you exercise on a treadmill.
Stress Echocardiography Stress echocardiogram combines a cardiac ultrasound with a stress test to visualize the heart and any abnormalities induced by exercise.
Transthoracic Echocardiography A Transthoracic Echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) is a common diagnostic test that uses sound waves to create images of the heart and its vessels.
Holter monitoring A Holter monitor is a portable unit that records a heart’s rhythm over a continuous period of time, usually 24 hours.
